Comedian Roger Radley has Farmers and Ranchers Laughing and Relating to Rural Life in North Dakota
Tuesday July 19th, 2011
Comedian Roger Radley entertained grain producers and cattle growers at Sun Prairie Grain’s annual customer appreciation event on July 13, 2011 in Velva, North Dakota. Roger is a Wisconsin native who grew up on a farm and he had the entire crowd of farmers and ranchers laughing as he shared his unique rural view of the world. This was the second time Roger has been called upon to perform for this group.
This region of North Dakota, in close proximity to Minot, has been subjected to extensive flooding, but Roger was invigorated by their laughs and tremendous spirit. “My mom always told me ‘Tough times don’t last. Tough people do.’” This sentiment was really brought home as he looked out at this particular audience of farmers and ranchers.
Thanks to the folks of Sun Prairie Grain and to Roger Radley for bringing a much-needed boost to the human spirit in North Dakota this summer!
