As a G. L. Berg entertainer, I am very fortunate to do many things. The primary one, of course, is to bring laughter to folks, like this client from an agricultural coop in North Dakota: “Wow James, I can’t thank you enough for the great party. All the employees had such a great time. Everyone is still buzzing about it this morning. Funny, funny stuff. Thanks again for the great entertainment.”

But another great benefit I also get is seeing this great country of ours in all its splendor. After a recent show in Chamberlain, South Dakota, I went outside the next morning and was greeting by a sleepy, misty Missouri River ambling by, with the sun doing its best to bring a touch of warmth and hope to the chilly winter day.

It is images like this, and the laughter of countless audiences, especially during these trying times, that make me feel very fortunate indeed. Happy Holidays to you all!
