Belladiva, show band
Belladiva performs at nightclubs, private parties, festivals, weddings, fundraisers, and corporate events. Their addition to every musical detail and ability to cater to specific clients' needs has made this outstanding band high in demand throughout the Midwest. Belladiva dazzles audiences with specialized shows which include: Boogie Fever a Tribute to the 70's; Best of Motown; Divas Through the Decades, Red Hot Country, and Back to the 80's. They also have the expertise to help clients design an evening to fit any theme. In addition, Belladiva is equipped to provide full production services. This group's enthusiasm takes any event to a whole new level. As well as keeping the party rockin' all night long, these experienced top-notch entertainers put on a dynamite show that keeps audiences entranced whether they are partying on the dance floor or just having a great time watching. In addition to these clients, Belladiva has also opened for Melissa Ethridge at the State Theater in Minneapolis, and performed with Cathy Rigby at the Guthrie Theater. Band Bios Lisa Marie, an accomplished dancer, singer, and choreographer/producer, received her B.A. in Theatre Arts, Acting/Directing, at Mankato State University. She founded her own production company, Hey Sugar! Productions in 2001, which produces high-energy Las Vegas-style shows throughout the Twin Cities. Currently, Lisa Marie runs Belladiva and enjoys teaching aerobics and can best be described as a dynamic performer with an incredible drive to succeed. Lisa majored in vocal performance at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with an emphasis in vocal jazz. Since then her singing career has taken her all over the world including Europe, Mexico, and the U.S. performing in bands, the theater, and backing up celebrities such as Donny Osmond, Jeveeta Steele, Louie Anderson, and Cathy Rigby. Currently, she enjoys singing with Belladiva and Sisters of Swing A Tribute to the Andrews Sisters, as well as recording jingles and voiceovers. Jenny was born in Hollywood, CA, and began singing and performing at the age of six. By age sixteen, she had studied voice under the direction of the well-known vocal teacher Seth Riggs. Jenny won Star Search in 1991, has enjoyed a successful recording career in both Minneapolis and Los Angeles, has performed all over the world, and has shared billing with internationally-known names such as The Temptations, Little Richard, Huey Lewis, and The Doobie Brothers. |
