Kristoffer Olson, magician

Kristoffer Olson’s quick-witted and self-deprecating character drives a show that plays like an earth-friendly hybrid of stand-up comedy and magic. More than a magician with some funny lines, Kristoffer is trained and experienced in the art of comedy. He studies improv at Duddley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop. He also writes and performs for the St. Paul Saints, the funniest baseball team in the country. During his show, Kristoffer involves members of your audience on stage with him, and they are an integral part of the show!

Fast Facts About Kristoffer Olson

Kristoffer Olson was born and raised in Red Wing, Minnesota and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota in 2005. Kristoffer has been performing since the age of nine, and has been a full-time performer since graduating from college.

Performance highlights include:

• I was honored to become a member of The Magic Circle, known to magicians as ‘the most exclusive club in the world.’ One of my greatest career highlights was performing at their headquarters in London, England!
• I won the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ Junior Stage Contest and was chosen as one of 6 from all over the world to compete in the final competition for their Gold Medal, one of the most coveted awards in magic.
• A big highlight for me is that every day I am doing what I love to do, and helping my audiences to create lasting memories with each other.
• Real TV eating an animal balloon like a sword swallower (Fox Network)
• “The Secret World of Magicians and Mentalists” (The Learning Channel)
• International Junior Stage Champion (International Brotherhood of Magicians)
• First Place: Houdini Escape Contest (Houdini Magic Club-Twice!!)

• Harry and Trudy Monti College Scholarship fund (3 years in a row)–a national college scholarship for young magicians who go to college in Theater and/or Business and wish to pursue a career in magic.
