Loren Daniels, Founder and Creator of Mannequin in Motion, began mimicking store mannequins at age four. In her teens, her interest grew in the fashion and modeling industry. During an in-store fashion event she was asked to pose in the window of a retail establishment. It was that request that planted the seed, paving the way to put her ideas in motion. She developed her skills in front of the camera, hosted a cable television show and was a facilitator for group events on the topic of fashion, fitness and self confidence. Her vision for incorporating creative learning concepts with a colorful cast of costumed performers (for preschoolers up to the 3rd grade) was developed in the year 2000. Each 30-minute presentation revolved around the designated theme of the month and introduced a ‘timeless value’ to children in a fun-filled activity.
Today, Loren coordinates and choreographs vignettes with a select group of performers, each trained to handle specific promotional or entertainment themes. Her living statues have performed at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and have traveled as far away as Shanghai, China.
