About

Viviana Pintado (vocals, piano):

  • International performer
  • Recorded with Albita Rodriguez, including Grammy-nominated Una Mujer Como Yo
  • Performed on subsequent international tours throughout North America, South America, Central America and Europe
  • Featured in 1995 film Dance With Me starring Vanessa Williams
  • Since moving to Minnesota in 2003, has been playing with literally dozens of local Latin groups, including Salsabrosa, Zafra (w/Rey Rivera), Salsa del Soul, Charanga Tropical, and Orquesta Zafiro

  • Salsabrosa: The Cultural Experience – Workshop/Demonstration: Two members of the Latin music and dance group, Salsabrosa, will share incredible music and stories with your guests and students. This interactive experience will allow your audience to sing, play, and dance along with Grammy-nominated pianist Viviana Pintado and conga sensation Frank Rivery – both Cuban natives now residing in Minnesota.   • Latin Dance Styles with Salsabrosa – Workshop/Demonstration: Salsabrosa’s top dance instructors, Jae Phillips and Hannah Esparza, will captivate your audience by performing the hottest Latin dance styles including Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue, and Salsa Hip-Hop. These seasoned performers will then show your guests the moves – teaching them the basic dance steps! No need to worry – these dancers make learning these popular dance styles incredibly easy and fun!
