Long time professional entertainers Kobi Shaw and Steve Russell have put their skills together to create this educational and entertaining show called The Art of Oomph!
The Art of Oomph! is a seminar presented to businesses and organizations. Created by the comedy juggling duo of In Capable Hands, Oomph! teaches the art of Optimized, Organized, Mandatory Phun, where juggling is both the tool and metaphor. By learning to juggle, people reevaluate their ideas of their limits, abilities and potentials.
The Art of Oomph! can be accomplished in 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions. It can also be presented as a half-day seminar. Give Oomph! an hour and In Capable Hands will teach your people to juggle. Give them two hours and you will have better employees!

About
Kobi was born in White Plains, NY, but moved to Ridgefield, CT at 9 months. She moved to New York City when she attended NYU and continued to live in NYC for several years before moving to Seattle, and then Wisconsin. Kobi graduated from NYU with BFA’s in Drama and in Broadcast Journalism. She trained at Circle In The Square (New York City). She also attended Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Clown College. Kobi has performed on Nickelodeon TV, was an Archie McPhee Cover Girl, has been in Life Magazine, and has been on the Disney Channel, and Good Morning America.
Steve was born and raised in Menomonie, WI, and after high school, began to live a life on the road. Steve attended UW-Stout, where he studied psychology. Additionally, he has an MFA (Master of Fun Arts) from Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Clown College. Steve is also is certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Steve and Kobi have been performing together as In Capable Hands since 1996. Some of their career highlights are their performances at the Medora Musical, their work with the Ringling Brothers company, and touring with their 90-minute theater show. As an act, they have opened for the 5th Dimension. In addition, Kobi has acted with Nanette Fabray, Jose Ferrar and Dick Van Dyke, and Steve has performed with Penn and Teller and has done shows for Ron Howard and the Royal Family of Spain. Steve and Kobi were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2006.
In Capable Hands has visited all 50 states and have performed in 33 of them. They have also performed in more than 35 foreign countries.
