Paul Imholte is the Musical Stringman, and has more than earned that title because he brings nearly a dozen string instruments to every performance. From the hammered dulcimer to the auto harp, guitar, violin, harmonica, jaw harp, and more, Paul Imholte can provide background music or stage show performances that are sure to delight all musical lovers. Paul's repertoire blends country hoedowns, enchanting Celtic melodies, and classical transcriptions for folk instruments, humorous songs, and treasured ballads.
Paul Imholte's artistry is based on a love for the beauty of acoustical music and his enthusiasm for sharing that passion with the audience. His strolling music is great for setting a relaxing atmosphere for receptions or dinners. At outdoor events, Paul uses a cart filled with his instruments so he can smoothly move across the grounds and offer spontaneous mini-concerts. His stage show features upbeat, family entertainment of folk songs, lively instrumentals, and audience participation. You will be enchanted by the sounds of the sounds of these strings!
Paul has also developed the following arts and educational program that will engage people of all ages:
