If you enjoy music and showmanship done right, then you are going to enjoy The Memories. >> Career Highlights As many groups do, The Memories got their start singing and playing music together while in high school choir and band in Boyceville, WI. In the summer of 1972, they were asked to perform for their friend’s wedding dance and 44 years later Warren Petryk and Tim Stevens are still singing and playing music together. Starting out as a very part-time adventure, Warren and Tim, along with classmate and fellow founding member – John Lynch, performed anywhere, and everywhere they could. Village halls, golf courses, high schools, community festivals, wedding dances, night clubs, bowling alleys, street dances, ballrooms, barn dances, supper clubs, ski resorts, and more. There have been many highlights through the years. Among them are: In March of 1975, the group won first place at a regional talent contest held at the Black Steer Supper Club in Eau Claire, WI. From 1976 through 1978, they were the “House Band” at Pine Point Lodge in Menomonie, WI. In 1979, they performed the entire 6-day run of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, serving as the fair’s Goodwill Ambassadors. Appeared as the opening acts for several nationally known artists. Some of the notable names are: Merle Haggard, Alabama, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Nelson, Ray Price and a very special show with Barbara Mandrell at the 1979 Barron, WI Farm & Feather Fest. In 1983 – they took first place in the Rhinelander Hodag Country Music Fest’s Country Band Contest, and the same year they were first place winners in the Wisconsin Country Music Band Contest sponsored by Wrangler Jeans and Dodge Trucks. Producing over thirty different recordings, which include 45’s, albums, 8-Track tapes, cassette tapes, and CD’s. Receiving special recognition from the Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce in 1985: “In Appreciation of Dedicated Entertainment and Representation of Our Area to a National Audience.” Induction into the Wisconsin Association of Fairs’ Hall of Fame in 1995. Thank you for putting on a quality program and please extend our thanks to Warren also!! We will definitely be interested in having you come back again sometime.” –Eastern Farmers Coop “My wife and I listened to your CD’s on our way back and forth to Pierre last weekend and just loved them. What talent! We’ve had nothing but positive feedback from everyone – you were a hit – but I am guessing you get that kind of feedback all the time.” –Avera Sacred Heart Hospital “Thank You for being a great part of our convention. Feedback was great for you and Warren. The only complaint was that we did not have you both nights. I must admit that the head table got up and left on Saturday night. The act did not have them under control like The Memories did. They had a good show, but not the good variety you have. Thanks again & hope to see you soon.” –Hitterdal Lions Club “I just wanted to send a belated thank you for the wonderful concert you put on for the Lions in Mahnomen, MN last month. I heard you for the first time about 12 years ago at another Lions event and have since heard you at the Phelps Mill Festival. • Tim Harmston | G.L. Berg Entertainment

Tim Harmston Stand-Up Comedian With topics ranging from football to married life to dogs wearing sweaters, Tim Harmston’s stand-up comedy show veers from the dark and demented to the delightfully absurd in a unique blend of somewhat “out there” one-liners and creative, well-written jokes, which may pass you by if you aren’t listening! Tim’s show is goofy, yet smart, with side effects of contagious laughter. He can easily skip from a joke which forces you to think out of the box – over to a light-hearted gibe on your favorite sport team’s last game. His slightly edgy, yet respectful (his mom was a church secretary) material is a breath of fresh air in corporate entertainment. >> Career Highlights Nationally touring stand up comedian, Tim Harmston, started his comedy career in 2002 at the Mall of America, of all places. Tim has charmed audiences at festivals around the country including the Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, NE and the Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival, where he won a Silver Nail Award for his hard work as an up and coming comic. This multi-talented seasoned performer has been the featured entertainment for some of the largest corporations in the country. He has also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many top music acts in America including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Merle Haggard, and The Statler Brothers. Here's the bottom line: When it comes to entertainment, David Malmberg is your best bet. The rave reviews are proof positive this is a laugh filled time for all. If you want to leave 'em laughing, contact us today and book David Malmberg for your next event. >> Career Highlights David Malmberg has had entertainment in his blood from the beginning. He remembers clearly the first time he saw a ventriloquist on TV and felt the first surge of desire to learn the art. By the time he was 13, David was practicing voice throwing in the classroom much to the chagrin of his teachers! His parents eventually felt he had potential and purchased for him a professional ventriloquist figure when he was 15. According to David: "It was in those early years that I discovered the exhilaration of live performance." Later, he went off to serve his country in the United States Navy, continuing his voice throwing antics in boot camp. This eventually caught the attention of his superiors and he was assigned as a DJ to radio stations in the American Forces Radio network in Cuba and Spain. This gave David a platform to continue practicing his craft. Opportunities also arose for him to pursue his academic ambitions. His undergraduate work was in broadcast journalism, and he also holds a Master's degree in Music and a PhD in Philosophy. After serving his country, David returned to the United States. He thought: "I should get a real job." So he entered the broadcasting business. This began a 20 year successful run as the Operations Director of radio stations K102 and WDGY in Minneapolis. David received many industry awards during this time including being named one of the "Top Ten Program Directors" in America by trade magazine "Inside Radio." Eventually though, the desire to experience live performance resulted in David stepping down from his post in the broadcasting business to pursue a career as an entertainer. David said, "They all thought I was crazy. You know, don't give up your day job sort of thing." Well, crazy or not, David has been crisscrossing the country with his show that features ventriloquism and music. David estimates that he has performed in front of more than a million people in his career. When asked about what drives him, David said, "Well, if you're lucky, you find out your passion in life. For me, it is laughter and music. I have been fortunate enough to do both for a living." >> Testimonials "...the best entertainment we have ever had. There wasn't a dry eye in the house thanks to David and his merry band of dummies." -GoldenWest Communication "We had a fantastic time, David was GREAT!" -Heart of the North Building Assn. "...David was one of the most outstanding banquet entertainers we have ever had...my cheeks actually hurt from laughing so hard...I would have to say AWESOME!" -WI State Telecommunications Assn. >> Basic Set-Up Needs In order to give you the best performance possible, David Malmberg provides the following information as a technical rider to his contract: Artist requests: A stage.
