Kenny Ahern
Talent Consultant
Background / Company Role
Kenny Ahern was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the suburbs of Washington DC. He and his
wife have lived in his adopted hometown of La Crosse, WI since 1990. In 1983, while a young college
student, Kenny auditioned for Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College on the suggestion
of his English professor. The professor expected a wonderful literary experience and Kenny earned a BFA
(Bachelor in Fun Arts) and a 30+ year career on stage.
Kenny’s extensive national and international touring experience on stage and in production
management serves Kenny well in assisting Tim Stevens with G. L. Berg’s national fair and festival
division. Kenny will also work as a talent consultant with select corporate clients, and in talent &
creative development.
What Kenny likes best about live performances:
“Nothing compares to the shared, multi-sensory experience of being on stage or sitting in the audience of a live performance-no matter the genre. To experience the truth of a performing artist sharing their soul and passion on stage, is an experience that cannot be duplicated in a virtual world.”
Hobbies and Interests?
Kenny is active in the outdoors; hiking, backpacking, cycling and snowshoeing. He catches as many live performances as he can. And Kenny is also the Director of an internationally respected variety & clown arts training program at Viterbo University.
