Background / Company Role
As the son of founder and CEO Gary Berg, Nate grew up with the business in St. Cloud, MN. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Spanish and Economics. Following college he went on to hold positions in Fortune 50 companies, but always with an eye on working in the family business. Growing up with the business and assisting with many company events throughout the years, he was able to develop an understanding of, and appreciation for, the company’s integrity and business model as well as a long standing relationship with the staff and many of the entertainers they represent. Nate is G.L. Berg’s talent consultant for corporate and association events throughout Minnesota.
What Nate likes best about live performances:
“Honestly, what I like best about live entertainment is the audience engagement. When going to a live event, whether it is a traditional stage show or something objectively more interactive, there is a great vibe that cannot be replicated. The fact that I get to work with a group and help pair the best fitting entertainer to their event, so that their guests can get that feeling, is the most fun part about my job!”
Hobbies and Interests?
In his free time, if he is not enjoying a craft beer and a game, you can probably find Nate attending events or planning a trip to a new destination with his fiance, Aisha; Or, out with friends watching or playing sports. With a case of “Fear of Missing Out,” Nate is always keeping busy having fun with friends and family.
