Position: Administrative and Talent Support – Cruise Ship Division (Junior Agent in Training)
Supervisor:
Cruise Division Senior Agent, Katie Partridge
Position Intent:
The purpose of this position is to support a wide range of activities relating to work G.L. Berg Entertainment does in the cruise ship entertainment market. This includes, but is not limited to:
Assist in the vetting of potential singers and dancers being considered for exclusive representation
Researching channels to recruit new talent
Routine administrative tasks including, but not limited to the following:
Updating information on the agency's casting website
Preparing, formatting, and tracking regular newsletters and email correspondence
Corresponding with talent (singers and dancers) to ensure an efficient onboarding process when contracts are presented to them. This could include: verifying talent availability, sending reminders, ensuring we have proper promotional materials, assisting in the overall on-boarding process as assigned by supervisor
Assist Chief Operating Officer for G.L. Berg Entertainment with tracking contracts, payments, and other tasks related to the Cruise Division
Train into the Junior Agent role under the supervision of Katie Partridge, Senior Agent
Additional Position Information:
This position is part of a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and is expected to work in-person in our office 3 days each week and may work remotely other days.
This will be considered a full-time position with an exceptional entertainment company. The person accepting this position will be required to sign a confidentiality/non-compete contract to protect G.L. Berg Entertainment's information and client relationships.
The long-term intention for this position is for the candidate to move into a Junior Agent role. The timeline for this transition would be evaluated on a fluid basis taking both the candidate's progress and the company's needs into account.
It is vital for the hired candidate to be self-motivated and highly detail-oriented with the ability and desire to work independently.
Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and be comfortable with learning new software as needed.
Pay and Benefits:
Payment is based on working an average of 32 hours per week. Starting annual salary range will be $36,000-$45,000 based on skills and experience, with potential for commissions and bonuses should the candidate grow into the Junior Agent role
