Aerialist Laura (Laura Emiola) brings your event to new heights with stunning

aerial entertainment. Let your audience be amazed as they watch her bend, twist

and drop from great heights on the aerial silks, or as she balances, leaps and

turns on a ½’’ tightrope spanning thin air. Laura’s aerial prowess can be featured

in a classic choreographed act, as ambient party entertainment, for aerial

champagne pouring, as a wine angel, aerial flower girl, or for a multi-act

multi-apparatus show.

Laura brings with her an extensive background in the performing arts. Her act

specialties include the aerial arts such as silks, rope, trapeze and lyra, and

balance acts such as the tightrope and bottlewalking. She has trained and

performed nearly her entire life across circus, dance, gymnastics, competitive

cheerleading and music.

Hire with confidence! A free-standing aerial rig allows for aerial set-up in even the

most precarious of environments. She can also rig off of many existing structures

for a seamless look.

>> Basic Set-Up Needs

Rigging from Structure
Aerial acts:
The client will need to supply access to a human load-bearing beam, truss, or other structure rated for a minimum of 1500 lbs. and located at least 15 feet above the stage floor, 25+ feet preferred. The client will need to provide access to the rigging point, such as with a cat walk, ladder or lift. Laura provides all the rigging that attaches to the anchor point. De-rigging time must occur no more than 4 hours after the performance. Other arrangements can be made if this is not possible. Laura and her team will handle all rigging and derigging activities, and/or work in partnership with on-site riggers when necessary.

Wire act: This act requires ground anchors be placed into secure flooring, or the apparatus can be anchored to existing structures that can withhold forces of 3000 lbs. A pre-event consultation is required for this act.

Rigging with Freestanding Tightwire Rig
The freestanding wire rig comes in various height options. All wire set ups require a 25ft diameter working area. The largest freestanding wire can be up to 6.5 feet in height. Height range minimums vary from 10 feet - 15 feet (smallest wire can be done in 10 feet, largest wire requires 15 feet).

Rigging with Freestanding Aerial Rig
The freestanding aerial rig has a maximum height of 20 feet with approximately a 20 feet diameter footprint. A 25 foot ceiling is needed for the rig set up if working at full height. The rig can be set up for lesser heights, in 6 inch increments. Two stagehands will be needed to help set up and tear down the rig. The rig cannot be put up and torn down several times a day. The rig must be able to be torn down and reloaded no more than 4 hours after the performance. Other arrangements can be made if this is not possible.

Site Walk-Through
Depending on the complexity of the rigging, a site-visit may be done prior to the event date. Rigging will take place at a designated time, prior to the performance and determined by the venue and artist. Equipment being provided by the venue, such as a lift or ladder must be available at that time. The artist reserves the right to conduct a venue walk-through prior to rigging to ascertain that it is indeed safe.
