Headlined by Dennis Curley, Country Roads is a tribute show to one of America's best-loved performers and draws deeply on Curley's own love of John Denver's music. Backed by a fantastic six-piece band, Curley's renditions of the music of John Denver is sure to bring a smile to audiences of all ages. Some of the featured tunes include "Take Me Home, Country Roads," "Rocky Mountain High," "Leaving on a Jet Plane," and "Thank God Im a Country Boy." Frontman Dennis Curley intersperses the songs with personal recollections of growing up with John Denver's music, as well as stories from friends and family that will touch your heart and tickle your funny bone. And in a truly unique twist, he invites audience members to share their personal stories as well. Country Roads ran for three weekends at Minneapolis' Bryant-Lake Bowl, two sold-out shows at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and fifteen weeks at the Plymouth Playhouse, where over 12,000 people saw and loved the show. The group produced a live CD from one of their performances, and they are excited to take the show on the road! Fully customizable and perfect for fairs, festivals, special events, corporate parties, conventions, trade shows, and theatrical engagements, Country Roads will delight fans old and new, and is ideal for all ages.

Dennis Curley has been a full-time singer and performer for over 25 years. He performed for 17 years in a Twin Cities cover band with two of his Country Roads bandmates, guitarist Leo Lenander and percussionist Matthew Zimmerman. Dennis has performed at Hey City Stage, Ordway Center, Theater Latte Da, History Theatre, Plymouth Playhouse, and the Guthrie. His compositions include Love After Hours, Vampires! Horror!, U Betcha: The Making of a Minnesota Boy Band, Route 66: Cruisin' the American Dream, Whistling Past the Graveyard, Pride and Plot of Pointlessness, and Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping. His arrangements for Schoolhouse Rock Live! and Schoolhouse Rock Live Too! are published by MTI; the Love After Hours Original Cast CD is available at the iTunes Store. Dennis has served as Musical Director for local and national productions of The Marvelous Wonderettes, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Rent, The Fantasticks, Here's Love, Power Balladz, U Betcha and Church Basement Ladies 2, among others. He is the regular improv pianist for The Theater of Public Policy.
