John Cosgrove immigrated to the Twin Cities directly from his native Northern Ireland in 1999. Soon he joined forces with fellow countryman, Kieran Folliard and worked for seven years in all aspects of the Irish Pub/restaurant operation. He began hosting trivia based events initially as an entertainment for the public and then further developed as a team based facilitation program for both corporate and private events. In 2006, he departed from the hospitality industry to grow his presentation business further. John’s experience as a presenter, emcee and facilitator is as diverse as it is wide. He has hosted over 300 corporate events for many Fortune 500 companies including Google, Microsoft, Boston Scientific and many times with Thrivent; using his trivia program where the task of keeping all attendees engaged and interactive has always been met. He has also hosted many live events and festivals and awards shows both locally in the Twin Cities and nationwide as his reputation continues to grow. Highly active with his local MPI Chapter, he has served on the executive board and has also served on the board of the Minnesota Meetings & Events publication. John brings a high level of energy and dynamism to any event that combines sharp articulation, a keen sense of humor delivered with that renowned Irish charisma and lilt.

>> Basic Set-Up Needs
A wireless microphone (a lapel mic is preferable) and a basic P.A. system are needed so that your audience can hear clearly.
If the group is 50 people or less a sound system not be needed.
A PowerPoint projector with a screen is needed. John will either use the laptop computer provided or will plug in his own.
He will need someone with basic tech skills to make sure the microphone, projector and computer are all working properly for his presentation.
