X 20 ft. is ideal for the performance (although, larger is always better!) Duelly Noted offers an interactive show and audience members are invited on stage to participate during the performance. The absolute minimum space required is 12 ft. X 12 ft. The stage should be set as close to the audience as possible with care taken to keep seating in front of the stage as much as possible. Having a secure and private room (dressing room) near the performance area is extremely helpful to store personal belongings, etc. Artist provides their own sound and lights for most settings. Lead singer/guitarist Mark Flora plays a hollow body Gretsch through tube amps, bassist/singer Lisa Lynn slaps a mean upright bass and drummer/singer Matt Alexander pounds an old Gretsch drum kit. The band feels no need to update or modernize the classic sound of early American rock ‘n’ roll. “It’s perfect just the way it is. And people are really reacting to it! Between them they’ve played many of the famous venues in the Upper Midwest. They’ve rocked First Ave., headlined the Back to the 50s Car Show at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, The Historic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, the Hinckley Grand Casino Main Room, The Redlin Art Center in Watertown, SD and the Minnesota Science Museum. With that in mind, it is important that the audience can see him. For groups larger than 80, a raised platform stage is recommended. A 12 to 24 inch raised stage is recommended, with a minimum of 12 feet wide by 8 feet deep. The stage should be set as close to the audience as possible with care taken to keep seating in front of the stage as much as possible. Two standard electrical outlets near the stage are required. If a podium is used as part of the event, it is important that the podium is removed prior to Steve's introduction. Ceiling height is rarely an obstacle. If Steve can stand up straight, he can do a show!
