While attending Chicago Academy for the Arts, Williams had the privilege of studying under Randy Duncan, Guillermo Leyva, and Anna Paskveska. Following Chicago Academy for the Arts, Williams received and accepted his first professional contract to dance with Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis, IN at the age of 18. Following this experience, Williams pursued his professional career; performing with numerous companies, including : Momenta Dance Company, Cerqua Rivera, Joel Hall & Dancers, Chicago Dance Crash, Deeply Rooted, Eisenhower Dance & Visceral Dance Chicago. With that in mind, it is important that the audience can see him. For groups larger than 80, a raised platform stage is recommended. A 12 to 24 inch raised stage is recommended, with a minimum of 12 feet wide by 8 feet deep. The stage should be set as close to the audience as possible with care taken to keep seating in front of the stage as much as possible. Two standard electrical outlets near the stage are required. If a podium is used as part of the event, it is important that the podium is removed prior to Steve's introduction. Ceiling height is rarely an obstacle. If Steve can stand up straight, he can do a show! (Bigger is always better!) If possible make sure the stage is high enough that Tim can be seen from the knees up by all. The audience should be no more than 6ft from the front of the stage. The closer the audience is to the stage the better. Please make sure there is not a dance floor or orchestra pit separating the audience from the stage. Sound: (1) Please provide one wired or wireless handheld high-quality microphone (Stand is not necessary) (2) The ability for Tim to patch into the main or house system. The patch requirements are: One grounded XLR, allowing Tim to use his own mixer. If there will be a sound engineer controlling the sound for your event, Tim will need two XLR inputs to main system This will be to plug his own UHF Wireless headset Microphone (countryman E6) and MP3 player (through a DI box) into their system. Lights: The minimum lighting requirements are simple–just a good wash on stage. Facial expression is a large part of Tim’s Show. Dallas String Quartet , also referred to as DSQ or DSQ Electric , is a #2 Billboard charting American Classical Crossover ensemble founded in 2007 by composer and violist Ion Zanca. A fusion of contemporary classical and pop music, DSQ is referred to as “ Bach meets Bon Jovi ” and is compared to artists like Lindsey Stirling, Vitamin String Quartet, Brooklyn Duo and 2Cellos. They use both traditional and electric strings performing as a quartet with the full accompaniment of drums and guitar.
