Musical Duo Sundae and Mr. Goessl Musical Duo Download Media Kit [object Object] This nationally touring husband/wife duo has been storming the country with their delightful brand of entertainment, melding award-winning music with non-award winning comedy... Their show, “Fun & Fancy”, is all in the title: banter, comedy, crowd engagement, and fun costumes mixed in with fancy music, multiple instruments and exciting arrangements giving the audience more than they bargained for with this charming duo. Sundae + Mr. Goessl have been wowing audiences since 2014 with their home grown music/comedy act featuring velvet vocals, swingin’ guitar, ukulele, bass and melodica all from this talented (and highly trained) duet. With 1000’s of shows under their belt, this fantastic act has earned a fair share of well-deserved attention acquiring awards that some artists have taken decades to earn (including 2 Golden Ears from Earshot Magazine!). No matter your age or musical taste, this duo will keep you smiling and make you fall in love with music all over again. >> Career Highlights ● Acoustic Ensemble of the Year - Earshot Jazz, 2021 ● Artists in Residence - Camp V (Naturita, CO), 2021 ● Guest Clinicians - Midland University, Fremont NE, 2021 ● “Keeping The Blues Alive” grant recipients (2020) ● Independent Music Award Nominations - 2020 & 2016 ● “When You’re Smiling” enjoys 16 weeks in the “Top 50 Jazz Album” charts, 2018 ● Vocalist of the Year - Earshot Jazz, 2017 ● Best Jazz Act - Seattle Weekly, 2017 ● Seattle-Kobe Vocal Jazz Princess, 2016 ● Seattle-Kobe Vocal Jazz Princess, 2014 ● Performed 1200+ shows in 30 US states and CAN ● Sponsorships from Bischoff Guitars (2019) & Hohner Melodicas (2021) ● Official Showcase Artists @ Arts NW (2019), FARM Folk (FAI, 2019) and MPAC (2018) >> Testimonials “Sundae + Mr. Goessl allured our audiences with Sundae’s charming and delightful voice and Mr. Goessl’s superb guitar skills! It’s hard not to love the melodica when played by such a witty and adorable gal as Kate. This duo’s music is classy and sassy!” - Jill Hill, President NAN (Northeastern Arts Network) “Hard working award winners that have charm dripping off them...This is certainly an act you want to see live if they come your way.” -- Chris Spector, Midwest Record “One of my fortunate “discoveries” of navigating the pandemic was being introduced to Sundae and Mr. Goessl. I have presented them to a livestream audience, to a hybrid audience, and soon, to a full capacity audience. Kate and Jason are professionals in every sense and were able to adjust to anything I threw at them- including taking what was to have been a live show, and asking them to perform onstage, to an empty house and Livestream audience! It’s immediately apparent that Kate is a superb vocalist and that Jason is a virtuoso guitarist. But the sum total is so much more. Their chemistry onstage is charming and enjoyable and hearkens back to the great couples entertainers like Cash and Carter and Steve and Eydie. They are more than musicians—they’re entertainers, who capture the audience from the first moment and hold them. A performance is full of not only applause, but smiles and laughter. I’ve asked them to host our holiday show this season (live and livestream), for that very reason. The performance is fun. And we can all use some fun.” -- Joe Ferlo, Director at The Grand Oshkosh (WI) “The Musical Talents of Sundae & Mr. Goessl are in one simple term, ''Amazing ``! I have had them perform here at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center at least three times in the past few years. They are a perfectly matched Duo playing "Real Music" in today's world of so called "Music" which in many cases, is far from the definition of the true art form of music. Their presentation and musical abilities are few and far between on most stages today. I absolutely love what they do and how they do it. If you are looking for standard tunes of the 30's/40's and more, done in a "Super Tasteful" way.....look no further, you have found it in Sundae & Mr. Goessl. Melodies & Riffs....to Die For!” -- Neil Lang, Bldg. Mgr. Marion Ross Performing Arts Center "Sundae + Mr. Goessl is more than a vintage duo, their authenticity and commitment to the genre rings true, and the genuineness shines through in their renditions of these classic gems. The duo takes you through delightfully fun romps, to late night after hours sounds. Comedian Who Happens To Juggle Alex Clark Comedian Who Happens To Juggle Download Media Kit [object Object] Youtube powerhouse Alex Clark does more than just make cartoons. He's a quick-witted, energetic, and bright comedian. A comedian that just happens to juggle. Mixing family-friendly and edgy humor together with knife juggling and ladder balancing, Alex's act is the perfect go-to for family events, corporate parties, and college campuses. He's talented, employable, and good-looking. The perfect guy to impress your friends, your mom, and your boss. His epic blend of circus and stand-up is what keeps audiences at the edge of their seats. He's juggled chainsaws, tempted fate with fire, and balanced on big unicycles, but these are all footnotes to his wise-cracking, mile-a-minute laughs. While most comedians tell jokes from the safety of the stage, Alex brings it to the next level finishing his act from high above the crowd balanced atop a free standing ladder. It's dangerous, but it makes him one comedian that stands above the rest. (#literally!) His act is polished, riveting, and hilarious; the perfect mix of both awe and laughter. He was even named one of 2014's Hottest Variety Acts. Put simply, it's really freaking cool. One visit to his Youtube page and you'll see why! With over 2.4 MILLION FOLLOWERS, Alex's cartoons make him a hit online as well. They've been featured on Youtube, ebaumsworld, daily motion, and newgrounds.com as well as translated into 3 languages. And he can bring that humor to your stage, LIVE! From the stage to the screen. Watch Anywhere. Laugh Everywhere. >> Career Highlights When Alex Clark did his first Arnold Schwarzenegger impression at age 12 his mom was very impressed! 16 years later, he's still acting like he's 12. (Hi mom!) His passion for entertaining was recognized at an early age when he was accepted into Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School. There he honed his skills as a comedian and juggler, learning from his longtime mentor, vaudevillian Brian Smith. Finding that school was not enough, Alex began performing regionally first through his comedy duo, Juggalicious. This two person comedy juggling show earned him several awards including Best Act at the Majestic Theater Talent Showcase. Alex and Bobby's eclectic mix of Western lasso tricks and juggling stunts brought them to countless area fairs, prominent ski resorts, universities, and private events. After parting ways with Bobby, Alex began work on an even bigger and better show called Project Dynamite. With his new partner Dave, they performed across the globe as one of the nation's best juggling duos. They received numerous awards for their work in colleges and even have a plaque with their name on it. Six years later it was time to take on the ultimate challenge, entertaining the crowd with the same amount of vim and vigor that two men provide, but doing it solo. And as it turns out, the show got even better! When Alex is not on the road he lives and works in Los Angeles, honing his craft at local comedy clubs and working in the entertainment industry. He has worked on such shows as Top Chef and Showbiz Show with David Spade. >> Testimonials "Thank you for bringing your professionalism, positive energy and exceptional talent to the second annual ARTsarben Art Fair...I appreciate you family-friendly, but still edgy, comedy and extraordinary juggling skill that elicited "ooo" and "ahh" from the hundreds of people you gathered for each show. Watching you draw a crowd is a thing of beauty! - Performance Coordinator, ARTsarben Art Fair >> Basic Set-Up Needs >> Sample Introduction >> Pricing Information Pricing for each act varies depending on a number of factors including: location of the event; popularity of the date; routing for each act; type of event; single or multiple day performances; length of show, etc. To get a specific and accurate quote for your event please contact our office by completing the form below or calling (612) 361-6002.
